Almost anything goes

Wondering why I can access any thread in "Almost Anything Goes"?

It says:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I haven't done anything to my knowledge to get booted from there.

Edit: I noticed that it says I currently have 7 posts. Something happen? I know I have more than that (not sure exactly, but I'd say a few hundred).

I see that. Problem is that I should have a lot more posts, plus I use to be able to access AAG. Something happened to my post count.

all post counts from the AAG were removed and posts within the AAG section no longer count tword your post count... 10 posts will get you in the AAG... maybe check the regional section or tech sections for something you can add to or help with...

Thanks for the help! Guess I should have posted in non-AAG sections more often.

What was the point of removing the AAG post count?

I had the same question. But I see from the replies you received that I need to contribute to this forum. Good to know and shouldn't be a problem.......

to many people were just joining for the AAG instead of the tech info... we didn't want a car site to become the next 4chan or what ever them sites are...

a main reason was credibility on the site. New people tend to look at post counts and equate that to knowledge when they're getting answers to questions. Don't want someone with 10,000 posts answering a question and a newer person thinking they know what they're talking about when 9,900 of those posts were in AAG.

I have over 10 post and still cant view AAG. I still get the "user account may not have sufficient privileges" Can somebody help me out? Thanks

Basicly imho AAG is a members lounge..

You don't get to hang with the big boys lol, unless you contribute something usefull to other areas..

There are tons of sections on various subjects related to our cars and others..

Should'nt be hard..

A few months??? Your join date is 7 days ago. Do you have another account here?? If so, that technically a violation of our multiple accounts policy.

Anyways, you need 10 posts and 10 days to access AAG. Try again on Saturday.
