To have my trufiber hood painted black with three coats of ppg paint and two coats of clear I was quoted at 300 dollars

That is because bli paint for GM cars and trucks is cheap. I can get a quart of Don't Crhoma base black for the same price as a pint of silver or a half pint of the red. I usually charge between $300 and $500 depending on the color.since some cost more. Silver would be between $350 to $400 maybe a little extra depending on the hood and the prep. It may or may not need. There is one guy on here with a captor hood in sliver who paid $300 but just had the outside done.
