    turn signals

hey all. when i got in my car today my signals did not work. they were working fine yesterday. when i click em on nothing shows up on the dash or anything. ive changed all the bulbs and the flasher within a couple months so im assuming it might be the fuse. which fuse would it be? or are there any other possiblities of why this happened?

Could be, I'm sure most cars have a fuse for the turn signals. Is any thing else not working?

Yep, check the fuse. It's behind the little panel on the left side of the dash. The fuse is labeled "TURN-B/U" or something like that. You can also put your car in reverse with the key on to see if your back-up lights are working. If the fuse is blown, the back-up lights won't be working either.

That's a bit of a stumper. Sounds like maybe something in the switch mechanism that is normally activated by the turn signal lever.

If you're tall you may have jammed the lever with your knee and it broke the signal switch inside.?.

I'm not tall but I thought it might be the lever. It feels the same though not like limp or anything.

Do you hear the flasher clicking under the dash? If not you may want to go pickup a electronic flasher at any auto parts store. I hate mechanical ones and I have LEDs so i have to use electronics.

no need to remove the steering wheel, just the kick panel under the column. The flasher on my t/a is located on the right side, clipped to the metal rail...but you can only see the clip, its on the right side of the rail (ie: directly behind the HVAC controls if that makes sense). I assume it should the be same location for a camaro.

Do you know what codes are coming up? If not, you can just go to autozone and have them read it for you.

P0430 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2)

Sounds like you need to replace your passenger side cat. Or if you got a bad tune...it could just be the tune. I had a horrible tune and kept popping up P0420 and P0430 codes right after installing new O2 sensors and new cats. I finally went somewhere else that does alot of LS1 work and haven't had issues since.
