he wasnt in the kind of shape hes in now, theyve been saying hes been in shape since before he fought sherk, and if you saw him after the sherk fight he couldnt stand up LOL. his conditiong has gotten better, do i think he can beat gsp... maybe, i think right now he has a better chance than he ever has, but honestly i really dont think the fight will happen anyway, seeing as how gsp needs to defend his belt.

Pewter- 2001 Camaro Z28 M6
Penn definitely looks better and improved since his loss to GSP. However I dont think he can beat GSP in a rematch.
GSP is an amazing athelete regarding conditioning, strength and discipline. i believe he is at a level that sets him apart from the rest.
Then again it is MMA and all it takes is that one shot and even the best fighter loser to the lesser fighter!
words floating around is that GSP has is mind set on wrestling in the next olympics. If its true that could break is focus from MMA.. possibly!

Maby, but I don't buy it. I think he was in shape GSP just wore him down fighting from his back. Either way I'm sure he wasn't gassed in the first and second round and GSP easily won both. It's like the Tito excuse of i'm 100% healthy before a fight, then I lose and all of a sudden his back is injured again.
If I was GSP I would refuse to fight him again unless he works his way back up the WW ladder. He needs to fight Fitch and Alves first. He's already beat the guy twice, what more does he need to prove against BJ.

QuickSilverMetallic- 2005 GTO M6
Nevermind, just saw this was held overseas. Fucking hate it when they fight somewhere else and it happens 15616315645321 hours before it airs here. That has to really cut down on the PPV take.

Yeah, I had to double check the times myself.
I'd love to hear the conversation between Dana and AS after that performance. Yet another strange and boring fight with Silva. I'm convinced that guy isn't playing with a full deck.

i am disgusted with silva, that was the most disrespectful performance ive ever seen, i lost all respect for him after that fiasco. if your gonna taunt someone, at least finish them, quit running away.

Dana wants to make it up to the fans for the silva fiasco... pin silva against Mir or someone in the heavyweight class or at least another good striker. Maia's a submission specialist so you know going into it it's lopsided already.
Also make a rule when you hold a belt you can't turn down opponents/pick your fights.
