I just don't see 4th gen camaros as much in the way of investment potential. You can't compare them to first gens there was much more fanfare over 67-69s then there ever was for LS1 camaros. There were so many different combinations as well where as 4th gens are virtually all the same with the excepton of the top, M6 or A4 and color. Sure this car is special and rare but I don't ever see it being as valuable as 69 ZL1 not even close. Look at 2nd gens great cars but still not selling for anywhere near what 1st gens are and they are 40 yrs old.

My car has a LS6 and its Procharged and methanol injected, worth 50K, i wish!
reminds me of the GNX guys asking 110K crazy and thats a 20,000 car with a 10K GNX option.
IMOP a was of $$$, but a regular SS or GN and make it the way you want.

ZL1s are a pretty rare find! There were only 69 of them made in 1969 and 69 of them made in 2002.
The 02 models had 3 stages. The Phase III had like 600hp with a 427 C5R block. Amazing cars! Purple is not really my color, but that car is a piece of history!

I hear ya , a C5R race block 427 would be cool but the price tag is too much, i rather by a new or like new SS and put a LS6 in it, and that what i did.

If I was a collector and just had money like that layin around maybe. I see no other reason to spend that kind of money on a camaro. Because at the end of the day thats what it is. You would have to keep it in mint condition, which means you ain't drivin it. Total waste of money for someone like me.
