Took the GTO to the track for the first time today
So I took my 2004 GTO to the track for the first time today and it did better then I thought it would do. They went like this.
First pass right off the HWY left at an idle
60ft 2.04
1/8 8.90 @ 80.9
1/4 13.82 @ 101
2nd let it cool down awhile left at an idle
60ft 2.08
1/8 8.93 @ 80.61
1/4 13.80 @101
3rd and last stalled up as hard as it would hoped it would hook and it did
60ft 2.03
1/8 8.84 @80.91
1/4 13.67 @ 102
Only Thing I know it has done to it is a magnaflow cat back.Last edited by elcameano; 11-23-2009 at 04:09 AM.

Is that about right for a 5.7 auto never seen a 5.7 at the track to compare to. I have seen some 6.0s with 6 speeds there that ran about the same time but I figured they was not shifting it worth a dang.
