Yea I live in
Missouri and I know stegmier who ports them he Is cool guy and his blowers make power. But there are mod motors with a crap ton of miles on them and they run 5w20. Guy I know had a f-150 with a 4.6 with 250,000 runs 5w20 he maintains it well

Sarge that sacres the hell out of me, I don't use RP in the engine, I went to 10-30 for the summer [Mobile 1] is that weight OK for our Texas summers? What scares me is I put RP in my tranny m-6 and in my diff, was that a no no? Thanks'

No RP gear stuff is a totally different animal and performs well. I run it from time to time myself and have excellent UOA's. So no worry there man.....I run 10-30 tear round in my hot rods/cars/trucks. I run Mobil1 0-40 or Shaeffers 5-40 in the Mercedes year round.
