As far as the horsepower is considered, if you STARTED with the 427, you'd have had roughly 70 more horses than you do now.
Not to mention the added strength of the internals of the 427. One of the strongest of the LS family.
On the suspension aspects, you've got me, I couldn't agree with you more.
As far as the asthetics are concerned, I think that the Z06/ZR1 wide body(s) are the most becoming of the C6, as do you, seeing as you adopted the rear end onto your car.
While grafting a most stunning and I assume functional hood onto your car as well.
I applaud your efforts and personal taste, well done my friend.
wasn't offended, just being a bit of a smart a$$ lol

yes, the z06 motor is a bit bigger and stronger, but as far as horsepower, the z06 is rated at 505 crank hp and i'm making 603 rwhp
    ,
so, to get to that point in a z06 i would have to add more $$ there as well, so the $$ total would be an even larger difference, not to mention the paddle shifted auto trans

Understood, and my old age sensed a bit of your smart ass in your reply, but I highly respect your efforts shown in your car, and I'm sure your keen youth sensed my tongue in cheek smart assed remarks in my own reply too.
Let us bid each other fair well, and I do sincerely admire your beautiful car.

I totally agree with the removable roof, what a down grade on a VETTE
