I personally like the Nittos.

A buddy of mine had them on a stock suspension 1989 350 IROC with 100hp NOS kit. Car ran 1.79s 60' all day with about 350hp and probably 500lb-ft of TQ.

was it a diesel?

Where did the 500 lbft of torque come from? A 100 shot can get me this?

Nittos suck if you have over 350 horses to the wheels. I cant get traction to save my life. They have lasted 2 years though without too much wear. It all depends on what you want

totally agreed, anything past 350 and forget about it.
for a daily driver i put on BFG drag tires and they work rather well.

1989 IROC L98 350:

350lb-ft TQ
250 HP

100hp nitrous adds 150lb-ft (nitrous works wonders with the long runner TPI)
and obviously 100hp

Even in my 350 (400hp, 425lb-ft) with a 150hp shot it gives 175lb-ft (carb, not TPI).

I hope everyone knows what TPI is...
