Install was a breeze, just having troubles keeping the short stick bolts from working loose.

You can use a pry bar to wedge it out (propped up against the drivers side). I used a crescent wrench since that was handy and just placed the tip against the shifter and used the wrench as a lever to pull it off (hard to explain). Taking the stock shifter off was the hardest part of the entire install for me, just because it was stuck on really well.

Black on Black- 2001 ~ T/A ~ WS6 ~ M6
I just finished the Pro 50 install and as of yet, have not taken it on the road for a test ride. One thing I did notice thus far was how difficult it was to shift into reverse. All the other gears shift very easily but reverse is 'extremely' tough.
Is this normal? The install is very simplistic; I can't imagine screwing something up. I figured I’d check with you guys prior to contacting the manufacturer.

Mine seemed fine I mean it was better then stock but stock gave me some trouble sometimes it'd go into reverse and when I let out on the clutch you'd hear some slight grind and I wasn't in gear eventhough you couldn't push it in more. Now it goes in fine. I raced a m3 today with it I love to shift I noticed not as much of a let off so when I shift its not as jumpy and the tires held traction a little more, could have just been the road I was on though.
