ok i dont know if you can answer this but i have a set off my ws6 that look like all the other cats i see of f bods but i got a set off a 98 z28 or a 99 ss... not sure which one they are off of... but they look different.. is that common? the welds on the y pipe look stock so i want to say there is no way they were replaced... but basically... are there different cats on the 98 or 99 camaros?

It is the platinum that is inside of them that is worth so much. That has been the big thing around here lately. Crack heads and thieves have been cutting them off parked cars, because they are quick easy money. One shop had 14 cars hit in there parking lot a couple weeks ago.

yeah i know its the platinum... but the aftermarket ones and etc have diff amounts and they dont accept those... so im making sure these are stock...

98-02 LS1 F-bods have the same cats. You can snap a pic and email it to me.

Yeah the ls1 cats are selling for 100 per cat here at the recycle place. Guys making a killing off you guys, I paid for my heads and cam doing what he's doing.
