    Question Headlights Dim

Hey Guys, I have looked through countless threads and find plenty on grinding(too many). But my motors are good, and my gears are brass with the T Brace on the outside of the motor housing. My lights flip up when I turn them on, but drivers side low and high beams are dim, passenger side high beam is dim, but passenger low beam is bright. I've looked for headlight fuses, relays, modules, but do not see any in any of the three fuse/relay blocks. I'm at a loss. I hardwired the passenger side cluster connector about 10yrs ago, but not the driver side. Anyone dealt with this before? Thanks in advance....!

Definitely check, clean, and tighten your ground wires. Since it is mostly on one side that is the likely cause or a corroded or dirty connection on the harness. Lots of people have had problems with grounds associated with the headlights. Otherwise, you might also check your alternator output to ensure it is not on the way out. If the lights dim when your idle drops that is a definite clue but since you said it is primarily on one side, I'm betting something in the harness or ground.
