    Wha? People have spent way more and rebuilt the motor, the tranny and put a new rear in it.

    You can actually find bunch of good F-Body's in good condition and fairly low milage for under 10k, trust me i've tried it.

    Go to AutoTrader
    for your search details do what ever you prefer, but mine are:

    Year : 1998-2002
    Transission: Manaul
    Milage: <100k
    Engine: V8

    Distance: i put any where, because it's only like 500-700 to ship the car to you through DAS and it saves you the headaches of driving and putting milage on the car.

    You should get bunch of good results!

    My '98 T/A was $8000 and its a convertable with 100k. Several little things wrong, but all nickle and dime stuff. Of course in the republic of Washington, I have to pay %10 sales tax and another $80 to license it, and they don't even give me new plates....

    I paid a little under 1200 for mine at a bank repo auction...but i've got nearly 4K total invested including the purchase price. 100,570 miles when i picked it up.

    Yeah, thats a good point. I think I can value the car around 6,000$ the way it sits now without problems selling.
