need help with texas speed cam and head setup up

first off i have a 2001 ws6 5.7l ls1 and was just double checking making sure this package will fit? so i found texas speed head and cam package that i want. Precison Race Components Stg 2.5 5.3L Heads & Cam i just dont know what specifics i want out of the packages. http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=203&catid=15 is the link. i was looking for a set up that will pull around 425-465 horsepower with tune. with a medium size lope. my current upgrades or specifics are slp lid, ported throttlebody and MAF sensor, high flow bellow,6 speed,17x11 rear tires throttle body booster, 160 degrre thermostat, and came with a ls6 intake manifold. before head and cam package i will be purchasing longtube headers, proably texas speed 1 7/8 with x pipe and true duals and maybe even cut outs for nice flow. And i will be purchasing 3.73 rear end i will also be porting the ls6 intake manifold in the process of heads and cam. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

A lot of people have gone with the MS4 cam with that package...would probably net you 450rwhp. I had those heads, but milled to 59cc chambers, so I was limited to the Torquer V.2 cam. I loved it and it drove great...I was putting down 445rwhp and 395rwtq.

Isn't the MS4 more of a nitrous cam? I know the MS3 is from talking to TSP.

Magic sticks 3&4 are used in N/A setups all the time with great results. Tell Texas speed exactly what you want and they won't steer you wrong. No sense in calling the shop that puts these packages together and saying... But the guys in the forum said..... They will hook you up.

I've seen a ton of good results with the magic stick cams too. I called them wanting that cam and they actually steered me away from them when I said I would never run nitrous. Ended up with the Torquer V3 and 2.5 ls6 heads, all going in right now.

OP...you would have better luck on Tech as they are a sponsor there.

It depends on really how much you can handle with the size of the cam. If you daily drive your car, you might want to opt for a bit smaller cam. I would atleast go with the TSP Torquer 2. 232/234. Its a good size cam. I have been debating if i want to step up to the MS3 myself.
