i sure there is a difference between manufacturers. my point was just that there will be an increase in height. I guess a big question is are you lowered and what offset are the 19x10s?

I'm afraid I may not be able to run those adapters since I put longer ARP studs in my axle, you may have forced my hand to go with the 18x10.5 rears and stick with 17x9.5 on the front. from what I saw 315/30/18 tires are within 0.1" of the stockers.
I was hoping to modernize the looks of the car by going 18's and 19's. It seems like every muscle car nowadays has them.
18/19s are going to limit your selection a bit and a lot of the styles that look good in those sizes come with a heavy price tag. If you want affordable then go with a set of vette wheels. If not, then CCW, HRE, Fikse, ect. are all viable options but like I said they don't come cheap. The RPM 505 is a good looking wheel as well but has limitations as far as width. It really all depends on what kind of style you are going for.
I have the CCW 505as in 18x10 (275/35/18) F and 18x11 (315/30/18) R and had to make no modifications. I have also run C6 Z06 Deep Dish wheels and those were 18x8.5 (255/40/18) F and 18x10.5 (295/35/18) R I didn't have an issues with those wheels either. I am not much of a fan of the looks of a 17/18 stagger. If you wanted to go with the 17s all the way the torq thrusts are nice looking wheels but it seems everyone has done those. There are also some nice options in the more expensive brands I listed above.
Great information. Do any of you know if I can get this done?
I myself am torn on putting a set of 315/30/18s on the rear of my 01 WS6 with 18x10.5 c6 z06 rims from OE wheels. I believe they will fit. The 295s I'm running now just look to skinny and have lots of clearance even with the car being lowered on eibach springs. I also have adjustable pan hard rod, relocation brackets, and a different axle. I have seen it done on the same wheel and car while visiting some other forums pictures. I just hate to spend the money and run into any problems. I found a set of Michlin pilot sports in this tire size for $526 for 2 (not bad). Thanks for any input guys.
