Agreed, but they are so damn pricey, the only reason I have the ss hood is I got it off an ss that was hit in the rear and it already happened to be silver,
oh yeah it was only $200.

Very nice...I like the stance, what springs do you have?

factory springs with 3/4 coil removed on rear, with heater hose mod, fronts are factory with 1 coil removed.

Thanks it took a little while to do them, but we used a factory 1981 z28 charcoal gray body color and base coat clear coated them.

I made the insert, and designed the hockey stick stripes, and had a friend at a sign shop cut the stripes,as for the stripe around the scoop, I added that to make it blend in with the accent stripe on the hockey stick stripes.
The wheels, front are standard SS 9.5 wheels but the rear came off a corvette,I know that they aren't 11" wheels but the backspacing is different from the front, it is stamped on the rear of the wheel but I cant remember what it says.
Thanks guys for all the positive feed back, it just reassures me of the fact that I need to keep my car and not sell it,it only has 42k miles on it, and I do admit with 3 children it is not practical transportation, but then I don't drive it every day.

Sad but true, I have adjustable struts and 1 coil removed from the front springs and 3/4 coil from the rear with the heater hose mod. It rides better than aftermarket spring packages I have tried them all they are just too stiff, and the strut spring and lca relo brackets still net good 60' times at the strip.
Don't worry I didn't heat the springs,I used a cut off wheel.

More info on heater hose mod?? Exactly how much did the 1 coil and 3/4 coil lower the car in the front/back?

:sillyme: omg....wow. Ok man...well it's your car. You know they make adjustable coil-overs that would be a more effecient choice?

Looks good. Normally am not a fan of hockey sticks.
