every cai out there requires the fra mod. but save your self the time and money and dont get the flowpac or the slp cai. get just the lid and then get a ssra.
You have a WS6? Debaffle and seal the hood. It's inexpensive and will provide great results while lowering IATs considerably. My IATs never get above 91.http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k1...amairchart.jpg
Fast Toys just released a good looking CAI http://fasttoys.net/shop/product_inf...001944dc310e95 . Check it out.
+1. i originally got the lid and the slp cai. i didnt know about the ssra but i ordered the ssra adaptive part for the slp to convert it to the ssra. the ssra gives u max performance in my opinion cuz it is suck cold air from the bottom and shoots it right to the lid. i say with the lid and ssra it gives u a minimum 10rwhp over stock
i was lookin into the new ftra.. but i went to home depot and spent 7 bucks on rubber foam weather stripping and sealed it ....don't know how long its goin to last though..i put some electical tape on it so when i shut the hood it goes smoothly over the air box..but i'm still interested in the sheet metal piece the ftra comes with ...not really into cutting for the fra mod or drillin screws in the bumper for the ssra....besides that i think its a great system and should work very well...
