So i beleive this is how i will go...
ARH 1-7/8 LTs 304 SS
ARH Catted Y Pipe
SLP Loudmouth II Exhaust with the Loud Mouth Resonator and 3.5 slashed tips
i was also told that i should change my plugs and wires and mounts.
MSD LS1 plug wires, and NGK TR55 (or NGK TR6)?? spark plugs
Well i want it loud. But i want it to be a great sound....
I want to be able to hear my stereo and talk in the car...but i want to be heard coming and i want to be heard when i leave.
I dont want the crappy redneck truck without muffler sound...i want the intimidating V8 rumble

would the ARH 7/8 LTs and Catted Y sound good with a stock exhaust?
LT's with an ORY and the LMII is extremely loud. Ask me how I know. You can talk to your girl though...just make sure you're below 3K RPM
Ill tell you right now, the OBX LT headers and an LLP y pipe of any kind is worth it. Stainless and hardly any fitting issues. I still have my AIR and EGR hook ups still on no problem. I spent 350 on my OBX headers, if you can get them at 199 get them. I got a thread some where about my install. check it out if your not convinced.
Not sure how other people feel on here but i just put in my hooker lt's and hooker ory. I have a borla adjustable and with the open plate it is so loud! yes raspy but so many people say they love it. and after a couple weeks its grown on me. Whats great about this borla is i can throw that plate that blocks everything off and its so quiet its nice once and a while And with it going right through the muffler i have no rasp at all. Others may disagree with borla but the adjustable is what i love about it. Also i think Borla looks great on the TA's
Pacesetter Longtube
Pacesetter ORY
Magnaflow Muffler
!CAT
Sounds amazing
Ok so it's not an lsx but it is an F-body. Here is a quick clip of my 97 Z-28 with LPP longtubes and ORY with slp LM2. The engine is 383LT1 with LE2 heads and cam. This is on a trifecta tune. Have not dyno tuned it yet, or gone down the track. Exuse the fogging lense.

Pacesetter Long Tubes
TSP 3" Catted Y
Hooker Exhaust
Sounds stock idle
Mean under normal driving
And loud at wot
OBX LTs
OBX Y w/High flow Cats
SLP Loudmouth Catback
It's got a really nice tone at idle, during regular driving it sounds really mean and it is really loud but not bad loud at WOT.

I actually kinda like that. I have a flowmaster but im kinda looking for somthing different. THe flowmaster was ok, but ive been really leaning on a magnaflow or a LMII but not sure. I have HF cats so the rasp is pretty much eliminated.
