I never got it dyno'd. But it did picked me up 3 tenths in the 1/8.
you getting past 7.5 in the 1/8 with your setup? 7.80's are my best so far with stock manifolds, but similar mods as yours.
that's with mt et's though.
7.79 @83, on street tires. "Nitto NT555" 1.82 60ft. Its a 600 ft 1/8 track though. I got a cutout and a tune, so i should be in the mid 7.5's.
Yeah, I had it blocked off. Til one day I hear ticking in my bay and the EGR pipe was bouncing up and down. Would've been a shit ton easier if the thing fell off before I installed em. Only cost me $20 to have it welded shut, but removing and installing em again was a PITA
Did it fall off when it was on your car?
:yup: i heard what i thought was ticking and my SES came on... so i was all :nilly: for the day... night time rolled around and i started my car up thinking it was a plug wire that got burnt through... then i seen the flames shooting out of the egr tube... it wasn't all the way off at that point so i took some copper wire and rigged it so that it was closed and the SES light would go out... had to wait a few days untill phoenix performance could fit me in to have it welded closed... it fell off onmy way there...
damn that's short. took me a minute to realize the time and distance. i was like WTF!!!!???? with a 1.68 60ft and 7.82's in the full 1/8, i think it's about as good as it gets with what i got so far. just can't wait until the strange 12 bolt and the 200 shot!!
I put these on my car this past spring, they fit great!I did have to elongate the last bolt hole on the drivers side though. That was the only issue I had.I hooked them up to an Edelbrock ORY-took some fabbing to do,but was worth it to get it tucked up tight. My car is lowered 2 inches all the way around and only rubs on serious dips or high bumps!I installed it with the Flowmaster cat-back,honestly not real happy with the raspy sound!
:DHaha, why couldn't it have just been easy for us and do it before their installed. It's weird they both fell off. I knew that piece was flimsy, but I wonder what caused it to do that. Your lucky it fell off on the way there, mine was off for about 4 days. Tried clampin it down til I could get to a shop and fell off when I was tightening it. Stupid ass EGR
Thats why:D
Good to hear its a good setup for you, even when lowered
HA! New best! 7.54 @85 1.79 60' on street tires, and btw, the track is 60 feet short of a full 1/8..
Just ordered mine last night :yup: will be throwing a H pipe and dual cutouts behide it but dont know what mufflers yet. Any suggestions?
The EGR pipe on the passenger side broke off today, easy fix tho. Lifted the car up, and was able to weld the hole shut whithout taking the header off. Thats the only negative i have with these headers..
All I can say.........You get what you pay for :yup:
You, Spaz, & me can attest to the shitty EGR pipe, at least you didn't have to take off the header. I did, took a half hour to pull the header out, another 3 to reinstall it
Ya, but I'm not at the stage where I can spend $800 or more on just headers. I will when I can, but for the price I think they're great. I wanted LT's and these have been amazing so far
Will these work on those?

OK im jumping in too i think this is awesome that they are so cheap and will have the long life that SS offers. so im going to weld the egr up before i put them in im a welder so yay for me. Is there anything I will need to do if I delete the egr??? Where can I get a good set of header bolts
