Hence her getting a boob job.
Some of the worst (cosmetically) mustangs are the 94 up through about 2004-05. I'd buy a mid 70's mustang II before I'd own one of those
I agree. I actually like any of the mustangs in the fastback (sportroof) style, except maybe the 71-73 models not so much (it was taken to extremes). Just something about the body lines and the sportroof make a good looking pony car.
When it comes to Shelbys I like the 67 the best. Cleanest of the 67-70 bunch. 68 they started putting too much goddy stuff on them and by 69-70 they started looking like a rolling museum for George Barris
I'm more of a clean Mach 1 kind of guy, which is why I have one, and prefer the 69 over the 70. When it comes to mustangs the 67-70 Sportroof models are considered the quentisential of the pony cars (and prices reflect that) much like tri-5 chevys and 69 camaros. They will always be popular.

So your saying this isn't a great looking car?

My Super Cobra Jet, unrestored original.
Thanks,
Here is the little 5.0 I painted and fixed up for my son to drive.
It was bone stock when I bought it (hard to find them that way anymore)
I've added an off road X-pipe and a cold air intake, that's it, nothing major. Probably leave it this way for a while. I've actually been daily driving it since last summer and have really become attached to it. Very fun to drive, nimble, short wheel base, easy to park and decent visibility, very comfortable seats with power lumbar. Around town it's consistently getting 22 mpg so it's extremely economical for what it is. 228,000 miles on it now, we are second owner, never been apart and runs like a clock, doesn't use a drop of oil. I'm impressed with it. These little things are built pretty stout from the get go. Forged pistons, 8.8 rear, factory shorty headers, and a real dual exhaust system which was rare on any other car in the 80's. They actually run pretty decent for what they are, considering the time frame they were built in. Easy to see why they are still a very popular platform to build on, and very light weight.
The 5.0 foxbodies are great cars.
Also, they are the SOLE reason that Camaros and Firebirds got the 5.7 V8.
The GM 5.0 was hopelessly outmatched vs the lightweight Foxbody with the 5.0.
The 5.7 at least made it interesting.
Then in '93 GM surprised everybody by putting the LT1 with a 6 speed in the F-body, thus beginning nearly a decade of ponycar domination.
Foxbodies are ugly as sin though so lets get back to the actually good looking mustangs.
I'd have never guessed considering the compliments that thing gets when I drive it :D
