Do I need the Latest Model Ravio/NAV

Hello All,

I am looking at putting a Double Din DVD CD Navigation System in my 2001 WS6. I have noticed that you can get last years model or even a 2 year old model for several hundred dollars less.

My question is, is it worth it?

All my music is either on my Windows Phone or Zune player, So I need Bluetooth and AUX. After that, I do not need any other bells and whistle other then the Navigation system. Now if the Nav system is that much, better, then it would be worth it.

The System I am presently looking at is the Pioneer AVIC-8200NEX ($950). I have found the AVIC-8000 ($700) and the AVIC-8100 ($825) version out on the net.

Also, is there a best time of the Year to buy Car Systems, and when do the new models usually come out.

Any input would be most appreciated.
