69 GTO pump gas 571ci

This is my fathers car he purchased new. Was the family car for years, then as interest and prices climbed in the 80's it got restored, was raced quite a bit and that bug never left my father. From then on it was engine after engine even though it was still primarily a street car. His latest engine is this 571 built by Tony at BES.

Here it is in the car and running. Had to revamp the car a bit for the added HP and TQ this engine makes over the last engine. Change the suspension setup, new tighter converter, and rebuilt the 400 turbo with updated internals to hold the power. The old 400 turbo I built 15 years ago was still serving him well but felt it was time to upgrade it. 12 bolt rear is the same way, it's been bullet proof for the last 15 years running bottom 11's at a 3900 lbs. race weight, but we are upgrading to a 9" this time around. So far several thousand street miles logged and it's been flawless.
