I have edlebrock shorties on now, I have Kooks in the garage. When taxes come in, the LT's and a new tune will happen.
Thanks bud. The FRC's are a combination of Afterthought Autos and TSS. All the other covers were done by TSS. I got all their info from this site. The Volant is nice, I like the way it seals to the hood so that the only air going in my car is coming from the hood scoop. Nice fresh cool air only! Did you ever get your exhaust?
Yup. You should be pretty happy.
Performance wise, I would go true dual like mine. I am not sure what that is going to do to the sound. I was reading a thread where a guy put in an x-pipe and dynomax mufflers and hated it. Took the x-pipe out and put in flowmasters and loved it. You just never know unless someone has done it before you.Ya know what I mean?
If you are looking for that deep rumble, GMMG is the way to go. Once you start removing cats and putting in x-pipes...you are going to get a raspy sound with some popping and spitting. I have x-pipe, no cats, and dynomax mufflers. My car sounds like a NASCAR. Very raspy. I would eliminate the cats only, no x-pipe, and go GMMG. I bet that would sound great. I would ask around first though!
He is probably right then, its most likely the pinion seal. I believe it is going to cost so much because they have to disasemble the whole rear end to replace the seal from the inside! (Dont quote me on that, but I am pretty sure)
What side is it leaking from? Is it the front where the driveshaft connects to, or the back where the cover is? If it is leaking from the front, most likely he is not bullshiting, if it from the back, its most likely just the gasket around the cover. Let me know!
I dont run my car at the strip, I am more of a drive around town sideways kind of guy. I like spinning the tires and drifting around corners. I have no clue what it would run. If I did try to run it, it would probably blow the stock rear end out! Go Strano for shocks, he will know exactly what you need!
They are as bright as stock. Same bulbs, just different housings. I have had the TF package for about a year and a half. No problems what so ever...knock on wood! Its not my daily driver. I only take it out about once or twice a month. I wish I had more time to drive it but work kills me! And NO WAY, I dont have that kind of money for the new SS! You?
The front of your car looks great! I love the grille! Get some more pis up bud!
