AFAIK the 4r70W trans has a 1:1 ratio in 3rd gear. so if he was in 3rd and pulling 6000 rpm then his driveshaft would also be pulling 6000 rpm. with a 3.27 rear that would be something like over 1800 rpm for the actual tires which would mean the car would have to be moving like 133 mph. unless it has higher gearing. 3.73 gears would have the car going about 118 mph. also factory vs non factory wheels take part here as well. The problem is that factory settings don't usually allow for WOT in 4th gear due to wear on the OD band. so top of 3rd gear ends up being your "limiter" my speed calculations assumed factory wheels which rotate at 811 RPM at 60 MPH. Again I am no mustang expert but i know my 4.6 and I know my 4r70w and the mustang inherited both those parts.
