yeah it probably would, freaking sux i bout 6 of us were headed to the sealy track tonight and almost there and my damn tranny took a crap on me lost drive and overdrive, worst part is we were just cruising at like 65 went to give little gas and just reved up damn i was mad
It is a functional hood, though it is not sealed to the lid in anyway that I know of. Sure something could be rigged up. I just think a cold air kit would do a better job.

No idea the hood came with the car. I would not expect it to make much of a difference though. I think the weight difference would make more of a impact than anything.
