You will need one to get the belt wheel off the front of the pump. You have a couple of bolts for the pump behind it. Autozone has it, it's called a Power Steering Pulley Puller/Installer $30.00. Worth it's weight in gold
i will tonight if i have time an a pulley puller dont you just need a 5/8s wrench to move the pulley down i have a 99 but i dont know its really annoying
Sounds like your cooler has a leak. I don't have one so not to familiar with them. With the leak over your Alternator it is starting to short out it out. You will need a pulley puller to get the power steering off. I'm willing to bet that the O-ring has failed. Could you PM me some pics that would help.
saw your post about your power steering and alternator my power steering is mixing in with the radiator fluid witch maybe a bad cooler idk yet but its flowing on my alternator and now its making it just up to 18 volts when i touch the pedal an when im not back down to 12 so anything like your? any thing to help would be great
